Here are some commonly asked questions

Are you a daycare: No. We are a developmental day treatment clinic. We specialize in working with children with developmental delays and special needs to get them to an age appropriate level before they start school district.

What is a developmental delay? My child looks “normal.” We’re glad that you asked. This simply means that there is an area that your child needs to receive some extra attention. One example is speech. Let’s say that they are hard to understand or they aren’t saying as many words as they should by 3 years of age. Our speech therapists would work with them to help them improve in that area. Other examples could be gross motor skills, such as balance.

You can find out more information about what is developmentally appropriate for your child by going here or by consulting with our admissions coordinator today.

What types of therapy do you provide and what does that look like? Our therapy staff is made up of Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapists. To outside eyes, this therapy often looks like play, but they are working on specific areas such as balance, strength, language, comprehension, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and much more.

How much does it cost? Due to the nature of the services that we provide, not all children qualify for Full Potential. In fact, our services have to prescribed by a doctor. Don’t worry, we’ll explain more about that later.  Most of our services are covered under Medicaid, TEFRA, or SSI. Contact us today to find out more.
